About this work

Fault Light reflects on the transformative moment when a fracture creates illumination within an internal landscape. A pale vertical form emerges through a field of dark marks and compressed space, suggesting a quiet threshold. The painting, part of Andrew Bowers’ Quiet Divides series, continues his ongoing inquiry into how boundaries and transitions shape perception. Presented within a black floating frame, the piece allows its subdued palette and textured surface to hold a focused atmospheric presence.
