About this work

Held Horizon reflects on the subtle, often unfixed boundary between differing states — where sky meets land, and thought meets memory. The painting uses a muted palette of cool blues and greys, with a distinct triangular form providing a focal point along an atmospheric horizon line. Part of Andrew Bowers’ continuing Quiet Divides series, the work explores moments of balance and quiet thresholds. Presented within a black floating frame, emphasising its contemporary structural language.
