About this work
Where Water Narrows is inspired by a winter walk through remote woodland near Telšiai, Lithuania. Created using layered acrylic on fine art paper, the painting explores moments where landscape, light and water combine to create a heightened sense of stillness and attention. Part of the Quiet Divides series, the work sits between representation and abstraction, using the narrowing stream as both a visual pathway and a metaphor for focus, reflection and transition.
